We're going through all 900+ of our posts and updating the tags... exciting news, I know... to make sidebar navigation easier by Country, Genre, Review Grade, Etc...
Reviews for Blitz, Small Town Murder Songs, The Orphan Killer, and The Vengeance Trilogy are on the way too.
Warning Signs is having a Planet of the Apes week, leading up to Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
We also recently featured a triple threat showdown between three horror magazines.
Upcoming, we'll have a round-up of horror musicals, a Re-Animator retrospective, our weekly Creepy by Association, and a review of the Fright Night remake.
Terror Titans continues to offer the weekly Saturday Scream Queen profiles and horror movie reviews, but I've also just released a little anthology of great horror stories through NUELOW Games, and I'm celebrating by giving a 50 percent discountto readers who download "From Dark Corners" via the link in that post. The discount is good through the end of the month.
Hi all, the tail end of last month saw us here at The Hell Street Journal receiving some much appreciated praise from those lovely Soska Sisters (Dead Hooker in a Trunk), Jen and Sylvia… August should find us again adding to our coverage of Vendetta Films’ (NZ)-The Devils Rock-, as they fire it up for Sept. 22 cinematic release. Another addition to our -The A-Z of Women in Horror (M)- is in the making, as is a review of Lloyd Kaufman’s 1998 -Terror Firmer-. August has us also beginning a much delayed ‘banner stack’ on our homepage and we of coarse welcome anyone who wishes to exchange. I have also had quite a few inquires for guest bloggers and are looking into incorporating this aspect into the site as soon as possible. Hope everyone has a great month!! Belated thanks to iZombie for his continued and again, much appreciated, support. Hari Navarro/ The Hell Street Journal.
