I have noticed that it takes some extra time to load this main page, due to the HBA Member List... Does anyone have any suggestions on how to move our list of members to it's own page or something that might make it load faster?
I have thought of splitting it into two list on either side of the blog, like a A - M, N - Z... though I don't think that is going to change the load time?
Thanks for any and all help!

What about moving it to a seperate page on top, next to the other pages? Maybe it would be an easier way to view the list too?:)
It's really easy!
This is from Blogger Buzz:
You create a page similar to how you write a blog post. From Blogger click the Posting | Edit Pages tab, then click New Page. (Note: you can create up to 10 pages.)

i created a new page for hba members, the main list appears on every page. unless i make page post the list and add to that. then i could take the list off, making the main page faster to load. it would be the hba member's page that would load slow only. second i would have to have active links within that post... though one mistake and i have lost the main list...
thanks, i brain is thinking!
If I understand correctly, the problem you have is that the only master list of members you have is whats on the sidebar. If so, you might want to try this: View > Source in your browser and copy the sidebar link list code and paste it on your member page. (You might have to switch to HTML mode instead of editor mode. Sorry, I'm not really a Blogger user). This should recreate the sidebar list on your member page with titles and links and all. Still not a database per se, but it should work to help move the link list. Apologies in advance if I'm not understanding the problem correctly, or this doesn't help.
