CONTEST-NEW MEMBERS-UPDATES-INTERVIEWS-NEWS-ETC
I've changed the whole approach at Lavender Lair of Horror. My schedule in the non-cyber world has changed so that I don't have the time I once did, so I'm now doing short humor instead of reviews --photos from classic horror films with captions attached that are, well, a bit twisted. Check it out, it won't take long -- and will probably give you a cackle. http://wwwlavenderlairofhorror.blogspot.com/
Thanks and have a great October -- the best month of the year.
i have lots of fun stuff planned out for the month of october. make sure to check it out everyday starting on friday! http://neversleepsagain.blogspot.com/
Coming up Wednesday, I'll post a Midnight Movie review of "dark portals: the chronicles of Vidocq". This week, I'll also post about three Westerns: "the good, the bad, the weird" (Korea), "800 bullets" (Spain) and "Renegade" (France).
I know lots of folks are doing it, but it's a tradition I've had since my days at Rotten Tomatoes, so I'm continuing it:
For the entire month of October, I will be posting at least one horror movie review per day at Terror Titans. (My other blogs will also feature horror-themed graphic novel reviews and photos [at Shades of Gray and Cinema Steve], but Terror Titans will be non-stop horror posts every day!
If you've never visited before, this might be the month do do so. They're waiting for you at Terror Titans!
The new address for Stuff Cats Like is www.theodorepuertoriquez.com, of course the old link still works but this is more direct. Also we still haven't gotten any responses on our "Glee" Fox TV giveaway and have added a singed copy of the "Wishmaster" book by Peter Atkins and a "Fringe" hologram notebook and a "Bones" metal sharpie marker.
Starting Friday, October 1st, over at A Racing Mind (http://lj-30sandcounting.blogspot.com/), I will start my 2010 version of 31 Days of Horror. I will suggest a horror movie a day, sometimes more than one, everyday during the month of October! This year's theme is "OMG! SPIDERS!". There will be 4 spider themed horror movies as well!
It's an experiment! I want the blogosphere to take a picture of your local movie theater and send it to me. Why? Because not everybody's local theaters DON'T look all glitzy Hollywoodish. Also, what does a theater in the UK look like?
Chucktober is less than a few days away over at Chuck Norris Ate My Baby. If you aren't aware, Chucktober is essentially the month long celebration of all things Halloween, and with that comes a focus on all horror throughout the month with a few fun surprises thrown in to the mix!
It may not be officially Chucktober as of yet, but the celebration has already begun, so make sure you drop by, because if you don't, you might die! Sorry, I got carries away there.
PLAY 6 DEGREES OF LON CHANEY, JR. AND YOU COULD WIN "HOUSE OF THE WOLF MAN" ON DVD.
New contest is up for Halloween month at Shadows & Screams. Think you can connect the dots between Lon, Jr. and Cheech & Chong? If so, head on over and you might win a copy of the new, retro homage to Universal horror films of the '30s and '40s.
I've moved my blog, In It For The Kills, from TypePad to WordPress. Tonight I'm going to see Chain Letter and will have an article up on it before midnight comes and I turn into a pumpkin. Check out the new site (and change the link in the sidebar). http://initforthekills.wordpress.com/

Just added a tab bar with extree info on my site and I'm continuing to do my usual thing.
Also, always on the lookout for others like myself who are creating weird-ass art. Gimme a holler if you are one or know of one.
Thanks and be well.
