The HBA Takes A Stab At: The Last Exorcism!

Gotta love doing one of these two weeks in a row! While the box office was simply poor for Piranha 3D, the reviews were all mostly positive from both fans and critics, something that is still a bit of a win I suppose. Early word on the street has been mixed for The Last Exorcism, but mixed is better than bad, and I would gather that at least half of you would enjoy it. Now, exactly who does and doesn't enjoy it must and will be shared with us all here at the HBA, by simply writing up a review at your site and sending it in for us to publish right here. If you want to play ball, simply leave a comment below with a link to the review, or, send said link in to our email at horrorbloggeralliance (@) hotmail (.) com. Some concerns for what this is for, I am using it to build a data base for future upcoming events. I am also interested in make sure your site still in working operations. Your information "will not" be shared to anyone, except to myself, members of the HBA Staff and Carl [HBA President] if he so chooses. It will be put into a excel spreadsheet, I thought database sounded cooler. If you have any questions please ask...

The 2010 Star Costumes Horror Scholarship

There are many of us who while away our days, dreaming of working within the horror industry and spending our days finding new ways of terrifying the horror loving public, but never actually doing anything about it.

The HBA Takes A Stab At: Piranha 3D!

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the movies, this Friday brings us the long awaited release of Alexandre Aja's Piranha 3D. It seems like it's been forever since this remake was first announced, in fact, this three dimensional film was in the works before said dimension would become the hottest thing since chipotle. With the campy aspect being a difficult one to pull off, I am quite eager to see how fans react to this one…I can only imagine the average moviegoer is going to think "it's sooo stoopid!," but who cares about what they think, right?! Right! Great HBA News...

As you may have read in the earlier post "HBA" make it in print in "Rue Morgue" Issue #103 http://www.rue-morgue.com/, and that is some fantastic news. Everyone who should read this please make a post on your blog, help spread the word. If possible go pick up this issue of "Rue Morgue Magazine" and support the continued horror communities.

The HBA Gets Run Over By Rue Morgue!

I was just recently informed by a buddy of mine that the Horror Blogger Alliance is a part of the Roadkill section in the latest issue of Rue Morgue! I haven't seen it myself as of yet, but it is in issue #103 which I have provided a photo of below. Definitely some very awesome news and we here at the HBA headquarters would love to thank whomever it was that decided to put us in the magazine.
