I don't like monsters that have been "played-out." So no vamps, zombies, and weres for me.
However, ghost stories are always entertaining, as are demons and other hellish beasts. I like made-up monsters or the monsters that lurk in the human psyche. That to me is far more interesting than the typical vampire story.

I actually might have to go with Werewolves too!
I like a werewolf, but any kind sea monster I love too. Maybe it's because I can't swim so any aquatic based nightmare is particularly scary for me.
I'm gonna go with Zombie, cause they're stank with or without deodorant. ;X
